The game's easy difficulty is mainly due to the fact that it feels less like a tactical shooter and more like a run-and-gun adventure. Not only that, but missions feel surprisingly easy when compared to previous SOCOM games. The story's short, too: there are eight missions, each containing three chapters, but it shouldn't take a gamer longer than six hours or so to complete the campaign. The plot 'twists' will fail to keep gamers interested, and the missions feel overly straightforward. It's a standard scenario for a game of this genre, and it's just as unremarkable as it sounds.Īs a result, one of the main problems with the game is that its single-player story just isn't interesting.
